Please excuse the shyte innuendo, it was so easy I couldn't help myself.. I snagged some MoonEyes curb feelers a while ago so thought I'd see how they looked on Granny - Granny not being felt: Granny being felt: Granny being felt from another angle: So, are you feeling it? Or if not why not? Or am I doing it wrong..? HC.

Feeling you, feeling me, aha. Sorry, went a bit ABBA there. Looks sweet with the kerb feelers, shame you can't get them in front of the wheel though. Curse that sexy spoiler

Actually I meant to say, if you think I'm doing it wrong feel free to suggest betterments kerb feelers FTW! obviously Ahh, you & Rod managed a deal - SWEET! Nice one dude ;D is this public knowledge already? Or did I miss it? Actually, I replied to his wanted add for VW rims - I'm guessing I failed to put 2 & 2 together?! Yeah, hatched a deal with rod, not really public knowlage yet (not a secret either, really) think we're both missing the cars we swapped but both need a bit of a change, pastures new and all that. Just got an air leak to sort and a bigger alternator to find and fit, 55amp alt trying to power 2 comp's and everything else int working, feel like I'm in apollo 13! Turning the heaters and lights off to turn the comp's on! lol but back to feelers, keep em man, they look spot on

I like the car muchly but, sorry, it's a big ole no for the 'kerb feelers' from me, the concept is ok it's just those ones look like a bit of an afterthought.....
and personally I'd have to do away with all the '80's power' aspects of the car like the side strips abs mirrors and the front air dam then add more chrome esp bumpers and grill ect and make it look more 'classic' early 70's which would suit the style your going for
Cool car though!

I say feeling it, but your doing it wrong. I guess they go up front as the front spoiler may have bought it before any feeling is going on. That said I reckon they probably look better where they are, so maybe you doing it right. Agree with the loosing some of the 80's spec black trim too, do the pre face lift bumpers swap over? More chrome, more win.

Wow - thanks for all the positive and constructive responses guys, much appreciated ;D I had thought about putting them in front of the wheel - will try that & get some pics up asap! Regarding the 80's stylings - it as always been my plan to simplify things in that regard. I've concentrated my time on the mechanics / hydraulics so far but once that's done to a standard I'm happy with & she's through an MoT ok I'll be moving on to the cosmetics. Ideally all the black bump-strips / moldings / overriders will be either gone or replaced with earlier chrome equivalents EDIT: Forgot to say please excuse the general filthiness & 'beigewall' tyres Also the wing I randomly selected to bolt the feelers to has a big dent where I dropped off a curb forgetting how low she is - oh the irony..!

Any chance of a pic from a bit further out so we can 'feel' the granny some more? (like the 3rd shot but maybe showing the whole front!? ) don't think it would be my choice of car (But i'm always open to being converted!) but I think they flow well with the chrome and stance you have going on! (I do so like those chrome arches too! I want them but have absolutly no use for them!)
