Alramone if that offer is still on the table would accept it? Car needs to go now its getting in the way. This is a rare car and don't believe no one has bought it yet? Its got MoT and Tax has a few niggles but nothing major and considering its over 30yrs old. Its not going to mint.

I think bigger piccies would improve the chances of selling this, it looks really nice.

Its not going to mint. which offer? my second offer for it, with new mot and windscreen still stands. not interested without as it would mean i would need to do work on it in november and thats when i will be doing a major overhaul on my hillman. |

Alot of people reading this thread will be confused by the posts, please post more accurate pics and make a final stand as to wether it is for sale or not + what condition exactly. Just because it is rare doesn't mean it will automatically sell.

Its amazing when people view a car and they seem to be so 'posh' with their comments on how bad the car is.The only problem is they seem to think they are doing the 'world' a favour by referring them to the bad points of the car as they have no intention of buying the car in the first place.People like you gain no 'brownie' points by doing this but instead put off people's interest in a very rare car.Personally I view a car,like it I buy it,don't like it walk away,period.Not your cuppa move on is what I'm saying.For us old schoolers,rust and dings are aprt of the course if you view the car.If it did not have any bad points it would be suspect.However trying to stay as a player is really not on.rotate seems a very kind man by not showing you the door.Happiness from the oldone.

Its amazing when people view a car and they seem to be so 'posh' with their comments on how bad the car is.The only problem is they seem to think they are doing the 'world' a favour by referring them to the bad points of the blah blah.... what ever trevor.  i viewed with the intention of buying based on the discription and i'm not a naive classic car owner. the discription did not match the car and i felt i should elaborate as to why i did not buy after giving the impression i wanted it i did make an offer on the car which i felt was fair, but even then i thought it would not really suit me due to the future work it needs and my lack of time with my other projects glad it's found a new home anyway |
