Ok, it's offical, I don't like you!!! All I get to look at while at work is bug splats on my windscreen and the back end of other wagons :/ love the db7 zag and the m3 motor with a midget built around it! And that fezza just gave me a boner! Not eveything we get in is awesome.

Word to the wise Guvnor, I'd be blanking out the reg numbers on those customers cars before posting them on a public forum.

Word to the wise Guvnor, I'd be blanking out the reg numbers on those customers cars before posting them on a public forum. why ? There have been cases of cars being cloned using ids found on forums. Saw a TV programme a while back that featured a guy who had it happen to his Monaro after it was on Pistonheads, and a woman who had her Audi cloned. She bought it from an online ad and the reg was visible in that. The clone Monaro was used in a series of robberies leading to the genuine guy getting pulled regularly by plod. The Audi woman kept getting parking tickets and congestion charge notices for the clone car. I wouldn't fancy having to deal with an angry customer who's had his Aston cloned and found out it was 'cos I'd posted a pic of his car on here.

Word to the wise Guvnor, I'd be blanking out the reg numbers on those customers cars before posting them on a public forum. why ? While it might not be illegal to show somebody else's number plates on the net, I'd consider it polite etiquette by a business to blank out plates of their customer's cars on photos. I've got an ongoing complaint with the DVLA regarding an incident of 'someone' trying to find out my address from a picture of one of my cars on an online photo album. Also, you do know that the DVLA flogs off driver details: www.theregister.co.uk/2010/01/20/dvla_data_flog/And loses it, too: www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/5349147/DVLA-under-fire-again-for-losing-data.htmlSince when have we started trusting the DVLA to have integrity with their data they hold on us???!!! I must have missed that meeting... Apologies for bringing the tone of this thread down, burt I think it's important people on here know the true nature of the DVLA 'beast'.
