what 30psi said^^ whats in the starlet? mate of mine has two 13 inch slicks ill see how much he wants if your interested? Thanks for the offer, but I think it'll need 15inch slicks as I think they usually come up smaller (ie. low profile) than road tyres and I desperately need longer gearing to make use of the powerband..as an example if I go from max revs in 3rd straight into 5th it's hardly any slower than using 4th as its in the main torque area ...if that makes any sense.

I hope the organisation is a bit fairer next time though. Cars getting one go for every 4 or 5 the bikes got was a bit rough. But otherwise an excellent, if chilly, day.

p.s just so everyone knows this montego was running 12's! (note exhaust) that guy lives round the corner from me! think it has a t series in it, deffo mappable as he's always "testing" it about the place- sounds like the turbo could kill you if you looked at it wrongly.

Kris- clashes with mersea motor madness I'd have to take my not so retro swift there too as the wartburg would need an hourglass instead of timing beams

That Montego must be the nuts!, proper sleeper I'm going to the next meet, but not sure if I'll be there in the Starlet as it's getting a new paddle clutch and the flywheel is being ground, ....but the machinist is away for the next 2 weeks, hopefully he'll be able to do in time to allow me to get the box back in., if not I'll just enjoy the spectating

seeing those pics has made me want to go to the next one. do you pay at the gate or pre order tickets? If you go , you wanna be at the gate early, quite a big line of cars waiting by 7:30...and the gates didn't open till 8..signing on not until 8:30, runs started at 10..so bit of a long wait..but well worth it.
