I will say this, I used to be a rat hater. However we did a mates Primera and its great fun. The reactions from the public afterwards are actually hamazing. Everybody should try it, just buy a scrapper with a months tax and test on, rat it, drive it for a month then frag it.

Nope, not sold lol.
Not when you can buy a 525 for £200, cut the springs in half and actually have a cool reliable daily.

I'm liking the matt green (Not entirely surprising considering my job ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ) I see why people on here don't like it but your ride your way used to be said on here a lot and still stands IMHO. I have to say I thought it looked a bit ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) before the colour change, but some slightly wider steels, maybe in ST orange? Reckon it would look pretty good ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

This I like. You started off with a rat that was a massive splurge of ideas, a drawing board of sorts, and it was chaotic and disorganised and, really, a bit of a mess. Then you seemed to step back, see what worked and what didn't, and pull the whole thing into order without compromising artistic vision. The primary goal of a rat shouldn't be to fit in with the scene or to tick the boxes, it should be to have fun and I reckon you're doing that.
I *love* what you've done with the wheels, it would be a massive shame to put alloys on since I think the chrome covers and whitewall tyres are interesting and really suit the car, especially now you've lowered it tidily.
I'm not sold on the green, but I don't dislike it either. Perhaps some black leopard print along the sides to about the height of the black arches would pull that together and match your bonnet theme? MOAR gold houndstooth in the interior please!
Is that a horseshoe I spy on the rear tow hook? I wonder if you can source an old Vauxhall bonnet mascot and trim too?
Overall, I like this... and I *despise* driving Corsas.
Oh, one last thing, for in the back, chintz scatter cushions.

well done for funking about with your boring standard corsa, ignore the haters or better still learn to love them it pisses them off!! how about military style camo? tiger stripe or that ww2 german style one. an opel grille would be cool too. keep it up. just don't do it to any semi desirable cars. got it.

TBbrutallyH, I HATED this at first.
However, I'm really feelin' it with the green and the whitewalls, they've transformed it for me...

I like the way it squats over the whitewalls/Austin Maxi/1800 wheeltrims. I like the idea that you can change the look at will. I like the fact that it's YOUR RIDE and you've done it YOUR WAY. The RR Ethos, in a nutshell. ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

thanks for opinions guys...
it was just a canvas for ideas first ( AKA rat look 101 )
but i've got it now how i want it and i don't really want to change much. i've got a couple of ideas in the pipeline
Minilites 12" x 5 - as the back is as low as you can get on a corsa b ( 110mm) the only alternative is change the size of the wheels, 12 inch with 60 radial instead of 80 radial would deck it more
vinyl roof - i'm sticking with the matt nato, always liked the colour! but it does need breaking up a bit. i'm thinking dark maroon vinyl ....
as always hit me with your opinions

As said before, you seem to have sorted it out nicely from what was an automotive brain storm. Don't go to 12" wheels, they'll look lost in the arches and they'll make it look higher anyway. The white walls and chrome trims are spot on ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

12s won't fit over the brakes, but 13 minilites fit, although you need to go very low to have any less than a few inch arch gap. Personally I think some revo's or something less common but retro would look pretty cool
