What size engine is in this one? I had a CL which was a 1.8 I'm guessing the GL is a 1.6? But I don't know enough about them tbh, only that I loved mine & it was a flyer!

Tis a 1.8 fella goes very well. I'm looking to get an auto happy to take offers or swaps - really is a great car but not my thing!

Shame you're after a wagon, I'm after getting rid of my e28, (the one in my sig) may take a drive up to swansea & have a look if it's still about, in the next couple of weeks. I know the valves can burn out on these (usually on cylinder 3) & the carbs were never up to much (pierberg?) but I guess at that mileage that'll all be sound. I scrapped mine with exhaust problems back in '01 or '02! Wish I hadn't now as I'd replaced the head not long before. :-(

Those wheels are good for a laugh but I think the original steels look better. I won't be coming for a look after all, just bought myself something else & will be trying to sell my beemer soon. Have a bump anyway, for a really nice car. Noone ever beat me at the lights in my one.
