on top of that work out what to attach the 2 spare mini moto engines to! I can't bloody wait! Do what i want to do but cant because i fail at making things Get a small car trailer, like a box camping trailer, and make it motorized, u, you're friends and all ya camping gear can be driving around the field! Then i can point at it and say to the missus, that's what i was gonna do with mine  ;D |

Thanks a lot mate!  Convoying will be great. I reckon the Bond will be OK, I just have to get all the little problems sorted out. My usual reasoning is that if a car can do 30 or 40 miles, it'll probably be alright! ;D Convoy sounds good - I will be in the 309, hopefully taking off cats eyes as we go! Rysz. You cant take that back now, it has to happen! Ill be in the convoy too of course, my main plans for the gathering are to respray the golf (hopefully within the next couple of weeks) and get some new wheels, so not too much really. |

Hmmm, i have to rewire the 205 (sounds easy but i'm completly retarded when it comes to wiring) fit the DTA ignition, get it mapped and get some new springs for the front. The get it MOT'd and some tax...should be ready to go then
Oh and some new tyres, even a blind MOT tester wouldn't pass the ones that are on there ;D

i was just thinking today how little time ive got..
the barracuda just wont be there but its gonna be tight just to get the viva there and track ready..
it must be done though.. i don't wanna miss track action again#!!

The pause button is firmly pressed for me sadly until next year. I want to attend a show closer to home the week before, but SWMBO has stated firmly that two shows in two weeks isn't fair on her as we don't get to see much of each other as it is, also the wedding invitation we have for the 7th means that she'd much prefer for the gathering to be missed this year.  |

at the moment my transit has no interior in it, no wiring loom in it, no dashboard in it, no engine in it, no gearbox in it a leaky roof and no front on it, even when the engine and gearbox is in it there is as yet no way to change gear or get the drive to the rear wheels and pretty much all of the bits that are not in it yet are not bolt in as pretty much everything going back in is non standard. The plan is for the van to be done in time so it can bring me and the missus and three kids down (one of whom is special needs and requires extras to spend even 5 mins in a vehcile let alone do 300 miles) and work as a camper van when we get there. :S I'm confidant! hah! it will be done! There is nothing that can stand in my way! Except the weather of course as it wont fit in the garage, and my bad back, and our poor finances. Wow i love this hobby.  SEE YOU ALL THERE!!!! |

my to do list is getting shorter but there is still a lot to do and i want to get to a few other shows before hand as well rough list of the bigger jobs is : rewire the car make trans tunnel make rear suspension fit rear axle make dash get seats re trimmed fit interior flat and polish paint fit new rear tires fit fuel lines fit brake lines fit brake calipers modify prop shaft plus about 30 odd little jobs classic for is the 6th of next month and i'm away this weekend and 22nd and 23rd   ; |

well not only am i doing 2 cars this year but a stand as well....!!!! caddy is waiting: wheels tyres seats prep and paint... ke70 is waiting: wheels tyres front f==kin caliper brackets!!!! swirl pot harnesses etc... and the cars going on the stand are all in bits....lol... i cant wait tho... well can and need too |
