Well as some of you know the Skoda died a couple of weeks ago in a cloud of smoke and boiling oil. However i am not giving up on it ;D In the meantime i have been left using my legs as transport and its not doing me any good, so yesterday i bought this; My very first Hot (read luke warm) hatch 100 of the finest French ponies, MPi, 5 (very close gears), some nice seats and fun go cart lift off oversteer handling, for not a lot of £££ which is the best bit! Took it out for a blast today down some of my favorite roads and its great fun, loads of go and a sweet gearbox that makes flicking between ratios a joy! Now here is the retro bonus - i now have transport so can build the Skoda over a slightly longer period meening it can be madder than it was going to be before. AAAnd ive bought another car as well but thats not coming until easter so its a suprise (but rest assured its quality and specced up to its headlining!)

I dunno, the original 106's are borderline Retro in my eyes. Funky little motor mate.

If I was after a small newish car i'd do one too, good one. My mate just a 1.1 one, she upset it lacks mod cons. I told her this things ace. plus the lack of PAS should prevent bingo wings!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Gah, how do you afford all this! ;D
Lovely motor, get some steels or wellers on it or something....although it looks mighty fine as is!

Must admit those little Rallye 106's look like fun. One of the only cars I've driven that I've managed to press the brake, clutch AND accelerator pedal with one foot... but I have big feet...

As for wheels I'm 99.99% sure its 108mm PCD same as ford meaning banded steels or 13x8"'s for the win (may need arches though)

Niiiiiiiiice one XSi is quite nippy. Only 100 ponies but in paper bag weight car. may I direct you to www.clubpeugeotuk.org for all your Peugeot needs or www.psooc.com for loads of ideas on how to make your 106 really go! Actually like most pugs it doesn't need anything really does it. Careful with the wheels though. The handlings pretty well sorted on the sportier 106's and bigger/lower often only spoils the handling.
