Hey folks, trying to get the word out about the Retro Rides Gathering to some further afield clubs, we've done REALLY well so far on club stands, but it has given me the taste for getting a ridiculous number together so... do you occupy any of these forums : Triumph Sport Six club Turbo Collective V8 Forum Shitboxracing (Big Kris I'm looking at you here) Mercedes 190.co.uk Volvo 300 Mania migweb (I've seen you being rude about Rat look and stretched tyres, so I know you are out there ) If you've got any suggestions for any more I'd love to hear them. I really want to connect with the hot rod scene, we're on rods and sods and I think we have an okay rep there, would be great to see if we can get a few more together bring some spice to the show, and maybe show them some interesting stuff.

I still go on V3M every now and again, haven't had a Volvo for 2 years though so i'm hardly a regular.
I've a few mates with 205's that wanted to go this year after they saw my pics from last year so i'll let them know that tickets are up for sale.

polo3.co.uk might be worth a post. theres a fair number of nice mk1s and 2s on there that certainly wouldnt look out of place at a retros gathering. practical classics forum must surely be worth contacting too?

Used to be on MIGWEB, but jacked it all years back when it filled up with 12 year old kids and those who ostracize you if you don't have a cav turbo or an XE`d corsa.

Wow.. okay that is a good long list of forums. Magnumpi : If you can do the deed at V3M that would be marvelous. fordf350camper : Would they be interested in the show do you think? Pauldaf44 can you post on : Triumph Dolomite Club Eircooled RWD club please Northern Ireland folk : Anyone that can post on jon44w.com that would be great, be useful if you can point them at the convoy thread too : retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rrg2010&action=display&thread=74799g40jon : Any chance you can do polo3.co.uk? v8ian : It would be ace if you could do v8forum colonelk : MIG have a thread already I think, would be good to get a few people just to show what the event is about, or say they enjoyed it rob0r : Noticed that from the incoming links this morning, good work, thank you! Kee : shitbox and xrtwo would be brilliant. We have a thread on Turbo Sports, as with the MIGweb one it would be good to occasionally get a bounce on it and some thumbs ups from other users CIH : 924OC would be great... and the S12OC too, sometimes they can be hard to get though 10mpg : We're on Rods and Sods, asked V8ian about V8forum. I am confused. I thought it was 'policy' not to mention other forums on here. Is this not correct, or is it only certain forums?

what about driftworks? (I'm not a member but I'm sure some of you are) Shitbox has been covered now by the looks of it. Nightmares is on www.outlawstreet.co.uk (he competes with them) they could do a promotion stand and that would really be something to see with their 9 second street legal drag cars... ppc mag's forum? Ill see if i can think of any more.
