The Volvo is gonna stay standard - I've got my work cut out with the Benz - ot started leaking fuel from a steel fuel line, and no sooner had I "fixed" that (by fixed I mean cutting out the rotten section and replacing it with a bit of flexi, cowboy-stylee) it started leaking from the carb . I have diaphragm issues now. Bit of tinkering and it'll be on the road again, or laid up and waiting for the V8 transplant... one of the two.
I think "tuning" the Volvo will go as far as grafting a K&N filter on there from some other motor and just slamming the thing. Pink flames would go well on it too, as well as a tiger-striped interior. Just messing about with it really! As long as it doesn't catch fire like the mk3 Escy did, I should be OK!
