did some more to the kitten today, just little bits and bobs: - made headlight adjusters work
- breather pipe to carb
- painted air filter
- interior light switch
- fix rear lights
Also cant decide about whether or not to tint the rear side windows before i sticker them, so here some photo shops for u guys to decide. the stickers are just a reprasentation, and the car looks a little different now. With tints: Without tints: I'm thinking with looks best. they are maybe a little dark in the picture. Anyone want to sell me a meter or so of tint? i don't need much, so don't want to have to buy a whole roll. Nick p.s. apologies for the pics, just realised how curse word they are.

I love this little kitten, needs hitting with the stick so hard though!
As for the tint, i think it makes it almost pillarless. Cant decide wether is better or not though hmmmmmm

Thanks for the compliment Pillarless was the illusion i set out for, i painted the pillars black but want to get some of that thin marsking tape for doing corners so i can paint around the front windows too. I also thought pillarless might make it look like it has a lower roof? It will get a good and propper pounding with the stick strait after its MOT. the bits for lowering the back are nearly finished, but the front tyres are still going to rub under hard cornering when i wind it down abit (hence waiting till after the MOT) Nick

Id prefer the clear windows. Would be good if you tinted both front and back, but thats a little naughty :/

What tyres do you use? are they 10"? J yup 10", they are 165s on the slotmags, they wont rub much (hopefully) but a 145 pretty much elimiates it. but i don't have any good 145s or money at the moment. the other problem is a 145 doesnt realy fill the rear arches, and this is more obvious when its lowerd. might try wheel spacers.

the guy building that emailed me alot, and at one stage he was tempted by a blue estate shell that i was going to let him have for free, he deicded against it in the end as he was realy after a saloon. J, you should get a kitten next! far better than an imp

without the tints, and low. they make it look like a van, which I'm not keen on.

I'd have to say no to the tints, unless the door windows are done too.

I'm saying no to the tints, i reckon a nice, clean look is the way forward Sweet little motor that is though, colour and wheel combo is absolutely spot on!

just a thought, but what size wheels do imps use? and do they have much offset on the front? as a 12" wheel would probably be ok, so long as it didnt have too much offset. Looks like its decided, no tint.

they the same front and rear? they sound like they would probably rub just as bad. might try 145s on the slotmags on the front, see how that works out. p.s. do you want a kitten? ive got one going cheap if your interested. like £50 ono cheap...
