Storage - Anything from wheels to cars (space to store rolling cars for short periods by prior arrangement)
Transport - Jeep Cherokee with 14foot Ifor Williams Flatbed trailer with ramps. Transit Luton work van.
Regular routes - All over the South West
Special Notes
Can meet at M5 for pick up/drop off, collect locally for delivery to Area52/later pick up. Willing to move most things including cars and vans for cheap rates.

Storage - Got a whole room of the house (so nothing dripping oil/fuel preferably), also can store people for overnight if required (RR epic journeys!)

Manchester -> Derby,

Manchester -> Cheshire and back

Location - Taunton, Somerset TA1, TA2
Storage - Anything. Wheels, tyres, panels, engines**, cars, trailers etc etc etc. Any durations catered for or redirection of couriers for those 'collection only' eBay items. Cars can be stored (outside-off road) for up to 5 days give or take. Longer periods can be supplied. This would be secured, indoor, offsite storage (chargable).
** engines left out front under tarp due to size. Would be blocked in behind a car in the drive as I cant get them in the garage/shed/garden.
Transport - Mondeo estate + car trailer (max 3series/escort/astra size vehicles). Shells/non runners welcome. It's the wheelbase width of a vehicle more than the length that is the issue. really low cars may catch but will make it on/off.
Regular Routes -
-Weekly: Chard, Bridgwater, Somerset.
-5 or so times a year: Newcastle Upon Tyne/Sund, Durham, Northumberland & Orpington, Kent.
-Can travel around somerset/Bristol/Exeter with prior arrangement.
-Car trailer rarely taken with unless pre-arranged Pony Express.
-Trailer no longer available for your self-tow/hire needs due to being damaged too many times upon return.

i'm happy to give as cheap a quote as a I possibly can to fellow retro-ride folk to move your car, be it new or old, barn finds/projects/shells/non-runners/spares vehicles, if it rolls on its wheels, if i can get it on my truck & strap it down safe i'll get the job done for you, i'm just finishing building ramps for moving super low cars!!!
& i'm lightening my truck so i'll be able to move some types of van without legal issues
for an rough idea of cost from my postcode if your within:
40miles i'll do it for £30+fuel, I try to be as cheap as I can but as you know most of my cost is based on the price of fuel which I cant change
I use an older recovery truck (ex-ford dealer truck) so cant go into london but anywhere else i'll go-no probs
also have a van which i'm kitting out at present for shifting motorbikes nationally-watch this space.....

Transport - Small estate, Disco & trailer, recovery truck (would have to pay fuel for truck or Disco)
Regular routes - only local, do travel further fairly often on tat runs.

Regular routes- Cheshire, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Somerset, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, All over the Midlands

Other Services - Can store items as a meeting holding point, or collect/drop smaller items if they're on the routes I travel.

Transport - Merc e class Estate W210 (I guess you could call it a little spacious) + can tow up 1.2 ton cars... Regular routes: London -> Brighton (three times a week, can stop in Newhaven, Seaford, Crawley) London -> Paris, (Once a month, Via Dover, Calais or Newhaven, Dieppe) London -> Berlin (Twice to three times a years at most, Via Antwerp, Dortmund, Hannover) I have some storage space in France if you want parts picked up from there... check out www.leboncoin.fr, French Gumtree with every conceivable classic cars/parts you might be after, mostly for French cars (duuuuhh) If your parts aren't too far from Paris then might be able to pick them up... |
