hi guys,, just my ten pence,, but I live in amesbury and yes the 303 on a friday is getting worse week by week at the moment,, if its anything like the last couple of weeks you wont even make it to solstice services,,,
personally coming from your direction i'd come off at andover,, straight to sailsbury(a343),, round the ring road,, that wont be bad at that time of day,,
out towards wilton, (a36),
then turning left into and through wilton on the a30,,
turning right onto the b3089 at barford st martin and following it back up to the a303,,
that will miss all the bottle necks of the a303 and put you on the dual carrigeway that runs right down to haynes,,
thats just if it was me
