A Hater will be along soon to poopoo the lot I bet tho, as it seems to be haters week I do hope not, that van is ace! No doubt one of the people who are clearly building world beating modified cars on here will be along to comment about a wheel arch angle, or the colour of the dashboard though.

Ahh, there's photos in there (that it won't let me post) that clear up all my confusion. Sweet. You could probably still even carry some stuff in there. Open the back doors, floor it, quick unloading ;D

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

As in the original post, will be inneresting to see if the 180-deg boat drive will handle the abuse. The waterborne shafts incorporate a shear pin. Nice back door lettering, Slim, on the upper LH side.

mmm interesting, but I am a bit puzzled but how does that setup work? is it a transfer-box under the gearbox and the prop is running a fan on the radiator?

mmm interesting, but I am a bit puzzled but how does that setup work? is it a transfer-box under the gearbox and the prop is running a fan on the radiator? He's bending the power back 180-degrees. Power comes from the AT output to the veedrive, then right back the same direction whence it came, with a propshaft below the trans propshaft. The under prop shaft goes to the live axle underneath the engine's placement. You can just make out the pinion input u-joint in one of the pics (the under prop shaft is not yet attached in that pic). See it now? Norm

I love that, it's nuts! Marine V-drive ftw. I reckon I would be keen to put a roof skin back on it though!

was gonna say this was posted in my blog thread as per norms comment... has it actually done a wheel stand yet? or is that just the plan.. i can see it going bang in a big way otherwise... cool idea tho.. and a amazing van. just cant help thinking a 4x4 transfer box would have done the job better?
