Hardly anyone keeps Custom Car any more. I'm surprised they can actually survive with that majority of the readership on subscription. That probably doesn't make much sense but it means that no-one new buys the mag because it's in no shops, so once a reader drops their subscription there will be nobody to replace him.
So Richy, what does this interior look like? 70 years old and ripped to shreds? Green angel hair? Leopard print? Buttoned draylon? CRUSHED VELVET WITH TASSLES?!!!

those things came with a V8 as stock (except some export markets like us which got an optional 4 banger). In fact isn't this car a Model 18 not a Model B if its got he 4 pot in it? The model B was the V8?
Bonnie & Clyde even wrote to Henry Ford saying how they always stole a Ford V8 when they could get one as they made the best getaway cars!

Has your mate removed the restrictor on the HA Van BTW? They usually have a mod done at new which limits the travel of the throttle to prevent what use so the posties or telephone repair man couldn't rag it.

Maybe they should think about doing that to vans these days. No reason why they should tear around in the way they do, it's a utility vehicle not a sports car :grrr:

But if those van boys get anywhere near the B, I'll be redefining the expression 'evil hot rodder'!

That car needs a paintjob and a gangster cap. YOU need a striped suit, a hat and a tommygun

Had an afternoon out in the B - the first day out since getting the MoT last week! Seems TopTaff and Lilliy the dog like it, and it showed a swift turn of speed to a few moderns away from the lights....
