Excellent a return of the type of build that I wish I could do, but am lacking in the skill, motivation, finances, and total and utter madness to be able to carry out.

sorry for not replying guys - i am snowed under with work and my full attention outside of that has been on the search for a suitable unit.

the shells and parts are in their third temporary resting place since collection and i am a little tired of moving it all about

a second attempt to rent a unit is underway but my chickens are most certainly not counted yet

Due to the long delay in accessing the old unit due to asbestos issues, this is a bit of a catchup post

i only had a very small window of opportunity to root through the ashes to see if i could retrieve anything




all that's left of a lifetimes collection of tools and plant

and nothing appears to be saved as the heat has softened the remaining tools rendering them unusable 



the site is now completely cleared and there is nothing to see but a muddy hole where the barn was.




i had asked the demolition guys very nicely to retrieve 294 if possible, which they kindly did with more care than was warranted by its condition.


the front looks almost untouched 




the back end not so much





i had hoped that i could graft the front of 294 onto the newly acquired half shell, but a long discussion with drdick about the change in structure of steel at fairly low temperatures, and a quick poke which revealed the sheet panels to be tearable by hand meant 294 was consigned to the frag pile
