Ok- well overdue update but well we haven't done much really recently on truck. Blame Viva. This week in between more Viva sagas I have put in long over due wall sockets, run big fat wires through to leisure battery where I plan to put invertor and more recently started on the little corner box to house the headunit, fuses and switches for invertor, shower pump, fan for toilet etc Its kind of taking a while to get back into it and also dealing with wood. Metals easy cause ya just weld it and its its simple to build a lightweight but strong item. With wood I'm trying make it strong and look nice too. And I don't really have the cabinet makers way about it, or tools. So I'm going to stick to my simple hobit house like wood work. Its really nice to start using the work bench..itself not finished.. And the birds nest home for headunit plus fuses and switches. A fine mixture of Walnut, Apricot Rimu and....ply Finished off stereo and switch/ fuse centre..

Yeah- our cat is not very handy with tools. He blames the lack of opposable thumbs.

Yeah- your cat is not very handy with tools. He blames the lack of opposable thumbs. They make great companions in the garage wouldn't be without mine for company although if I intend to spark up the welder or grinder she gets the hump when I kick her out Truck is looking good

Cats: the silent DIY Gaffer. I like this interior shot, showing the details of the workmanship already done, especially the beams, windows and the bookcase. To be able to live in a house you've built yourself must be a wonderful experience.

To be able to live in a house you've built yourself must be a wonderful experience. And to be able to tuck a few things away, fire it up and drive that house to the beach must make it even better!

yeah i cant wait for first drive. Hopefully it wont fall apart! We want to get our own housetruck cats - the lazy white ball of fur is the olds. We had two maine coons in england. I think several photos of them helping me in rx3 resto. They are great cats. Big and so chilled. One day....

Looking awesome. I love maine coons, I'd love to have a male some day or a Norwegian forest cat. or a sealpoint Birman, a bicolour Ragdoll, or a Somali. ;D

Ragdolls by name, Ragdolls by nature. They're the most chilled out cats ever, I think they might actually be made of pure Lazy and would likely be a perfect truckhousecat.

Oh how we digress.... ;D Maine coons in action... Our favourite housetruck past time in England on winter morning- up with strong coffee, fire lit, out with classic cars weekly and cat... A maine coon trait is that the love to go walkies... like proper walks till they get tired and then get carried home sometimes. We had two brothers- I think boy cats are much better pets. ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh ;D

Cute puddis!
I heard that they almost bark like a dog if they see an intruder. Is that right?

Nah- they have the smallest squeak of a meow- quite funny given the size they can get to.... Definitely not loud cats. Which is good. Good purrs though.
