How does the thought of finding an E30 M3 grab you? How about two of them, unregistered and unused? And an RS200 as well? And a 190E Evo II? Some people have all the luck. Click here.

Wouldn't call buying some cars from another guys collection a barn find exactly, but still some lovely cars there.

Very nice!, I bet he paid a fortune for them though, And I wouldn't really call it a barn find neither as the chap he bought them off knew about them as he was a bit of a collecter himself.
The RS200 seems very late being on a G plate, Most I've seen are C and D regs.

That Bonkers guy is one lucky fella! You should see his collection of Fords.

Sommat hooky going on with the RS200 - logbook comes back as a red 1600 CVH engined something (probably an escort or orion...) I was half expecting it to be a Maestro (G reg..) a la Paul Banham

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in

I'm not joking. I already have a beautiful daughter, so the nuts are no use now! Merc EVO please! Wonder what's going on with the RS200 though. That sounds a bit iffy, unless, well no, it just sounds a bit iffy. Chris

Actually, it comes back as nothing. Literally. I mistyped before... G292 SYY was a red escort, G492 SYY isn't there. No record at all. (and yeah, it's about 3 years too young, but right reg for a banham..)

isn't the rs200 one of the reliant built ones. left over bits after end of group b. i think most of road cars had late regs.

Hardly a 'barn find' when a collector spends a lot of money on some old, overpriced cars! But yes, they're very nice, etc etc.

Read about this on another forum (its doing the rounds as the do) and spent a while reading through the various forum posts. From what i can gather the Billionaire original owner bought the M3 Evo Sports for his two sons, hence identical, then put them in the garage with the other two and kind of forgot they were there (decade or so of dust on them). chance meeting at silverstone with the new owner and then a phonecall out of the blue and he snapped up the opportunity to own 4 low mileage rare mint classics. The new owner is a collector and owns something like Carcraft or Car supermarket i think......
Either way i guess its not a real barn find but it is still AWESOME!!! Would have been better if it was an M3, 190e Evo, Sierra Cosworth RS 500, and an Audi Quattro WR, would have kinda been a compleete set ;D
