Either Mk 1/2 Golf or Mk 1/2 Polo is (IMO) a good choice, and theres plenty of insurance friendly engine options. My favourite is definitely the Mk 1 Golf though..  Damn, wish mine looked like this!! |

i'd be happy with a couple
of hundred quid for it TBH.
whatever needed doing to it has
been done and its far from
original spec now so i've badged
it as a GL, which was never produced
that late as a mk2 (NOS badging)
just picked up smart black MK3 seats to go in
at the weekend cos i need the 'rocco seats,
i'm too tall for my new 'un as it is ATM.
