Looks like you guys had an amazing time building these trikes!
...Just finished building mine a couple of weeks back, with some crazy thick steel piping as wheels, sharp enough to shred my love handles. However, just bought some go kart wheels off eBay and now trying to find some much needed sleeves for my wheels.
I noticed you're using super chunky PE/PVC piping of some sort, looks like quality durable stuff (just what we need for British roads). Where did you get hold of this?

Or have you got more quality flattery and pampering to put Lady Stealths way? As for the 'theme'... Well, there's the fitting of coilovers to Felix's Porsche, fitting coilovers to a certain persons rough & ready oil burning E36 tat mobile (with the memories of Pippas E46 still haunting a few of us!), head gasket and other jobs on a big tupperware bodied Escort box type thing, I'm sure there's something I've missed... ...oh...and the opportunity to watch me mash my face up even more on Ashton Courts wrought iron fences! Sat night will be drift trike night again. |

Hey, first time posting in this thread. I'm not far from Bristol and interested in getting to meet a few of you and helping out, i'm a motability engineer and I know my way around cars to an extent, but keen to just help people out/learn as I go/make mates. I've met Speedy, (Speedy I'm Dan from the V3M Forums, I had the red 3 door 340 and you took me out in your awesome old F7R Loon  ) Generally free every sunday/some saturdays, more than happy to pop over with tools or whatever and lend a hand/hang out. |

I just had a review of the previous months' antics. Is that Lotus going to come back or is it only a parts mule? This is probably my favourite - the Escort estate with the 80s top-box. I thought I was the only 80s top-box fan ( is someone now going to point me to an internet forum dedicated to 80s top-boxes?) The BX in that picture - unless it's 'parallax' from the camera - appears to require some new rear swing-arm bearings judging by the slight lean on the rear wheels. Just a thought. Very enjoyable to see all the activity going on.  |

Already very aware that my BX needs new arm bearings. They remind me every now and again with a delightful snap sound over harsh bumps. Summer job though.
