Hmmm sounds good to me, ill be taking the same route. Question is how fast do you guys go? I'm very much a slow motorway cruiser, 70max (discounting blasts to the limiter!) four gears makes for slow progress :S Last time we travelled at about 60-70... snaking our way along the motorway in a big convoy

J haha, theres a little village called Froxfield locally(weird little place.... ) but I'm pretty remote. Abit weird, never realised anyone was that local to me! Edit - google maps says its 15.4 miles between us, and starts the directions with 'Go forwards 16 feet'... and that will take 42mins!!! WAT! lol. your just down the old A3?

Twincharged Imp, eh?!
I just realised that we haven't had an update in a while - how goes Moby Dick mkII?
As it stands, I'll be joining the convoy in the Shuv. I may be alone, I may have the lady half with me.
Hopefully, I'll persuade my dad to bring his 205 rally car...then we can all spend all weekend persuading him to paint it NATO green...

Mrs atkinson hated me and my sister, for no apparent reason! ahh well i had fun there!
As for the imp ive been doing some investigation, i have all the bits all i need, the pipe work, some valves, and a lot of brackets and flanges. The imp S4 shall be, whistle pop bang!! More info when I'm not quite so off my box.

I expect we'll do a Thurrock services (M25 J31 [Lakeside]) meet up again, and then head round the M25 and up the M1.

Nearer the time or now we could start a thread in the events section to get the convoys started, A north one and south one or even, a NW, NE, SW, SE. I'll start a NW one if its a good idea, and noones done it already, (and i'm coming that way as opposed from Yorks).

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts
