The one thing that made the night was meeting John (gtvsaviour) though. Top bloke and massive huge big thanks to him for all the bits he gave me for the Dolomite. He got one box of tat out of the van and I thought 'Woah, theres loads of bits in there!', then I turned around and he was back in the van getting more boxes and bags full of stuff! Cheers mate, was really good meeting you and I really appreciate the bits John is 110% a top geezer and one of the first fellow RR-ers I met in the flesh. Can't do enough for everybody whether he knows them or not!

Hey folks,
First of all - gutted I couldn't make the awards. This was compounded when I got the unbelieveable message from Bruce that I had won car of the year. I humbley accept, I feel an undeserved winner, especially considering I wasn't able to make it. The class of the other cars is absolutely fantastic, and the prize could have gone any way really! Cheers guys, you don't know how much it means to me, my mojo has been boosted ten fold and I'm now ready to do something quite special!
Congrats to the other winners - looks like it was a great gathering of people.
P.S - Where's my prize? ;D

The Jag was hiding behind the Jetta all night trying to look modified and failing. I was flitting about mostly or leaning on the bar inside warming up.

Volvo back as my main squeeze, more boost and some interior goodies on the way.

I haven't got much more to add that hasn't already be said, other than what a night, what a turnout! I wasn't expecting such a turnout when I left Reading looking like this! Bruce, love the new project, sofa bench seat and paddling pool in the back FTW Seth, really neat install, I thought it sounded a bit different as you sped in! BD and his "small" snack Bonkers transport from Mr 69 Interesting double act The Euro travellers, hope you guys got back safely A hardy meal A cross section of the night The awards began and the crowds flocked in I was genuinely shocked and surprised by the award and couldn't think of a thing to say, I hope this drivel makes up for it “Thank you to everyone who nominated or voted for me, to win whilst up against such amazing competition really means a lot to me, with around 50 events in 2009 and getting on for 20000 photos taken I do I hope it was quality not quantity that gave me the edge. The other nominations are all very deserving of the award be they seasoned snappers or new guys picking up a camera for the first time and experimenting at the shows, the quality of photos being posted up after each show is out standing and gives such a great overview when combined with a few choice words that it really feels like you were there. And that’s the reason I take photos and share them online, I hope I can keep up the effort from 2009 into the new year, bring on the show season! “The smiling masses from the stage! ;D

Looks like a good time was had by all, I'm most sad that we couldn't make it down to enjoy it with you all The pics have made me regret not saying 'stuff it' and just setting off down. Well done to all those who won awards, from what I've seen of the nominations they're all well deserved. Also, did anyone see Frank there? Did he make it in 'FAF'? We will be there next year, undoubtedly not in ol' blue though

That pic from the stage is brilliant, who'd have thought such a weird looking bunch of people could be so bloody nice to each other?
