got a new belt buckle for xmas off my bestest bud/ sister sally. once id opened it she started to grin and pointed out that its roughly the same size as the star on the big girl. here is a mock up of the finished product. opinions please. id have to cut the centre out of the badge cos 2 of the points can be seen through.

Yes definetely but for shows only. If you leave it on the car I would give it 24 hr`s before the lowlife scum round yours nicked it.

Got to be done, looks good. You'll have top wire it to a capacitor, have it charge while you drive, then a set of contacts so when its bent over to try and snap, it discharges the capacitor straight into the scumbag who is doing it...

DO IT!!

... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.

Connect the badge to a large capacitor.
It'll charge off the laternator/battery when driving. You park, flick a switch which arms the badge and disconnects the cap from the battery.
No more problem.

Interesting idea, I'd say go for it but as has been mentioned some bloody ned will end up nicking it so I'd definately have it so that you can remove it from the motor when it's not at shows etc. But yes, do it, it looks cool!
