Completely mullerd a rare (even when new they were rare) 2.8i ghia S mk2 granny many years ago, 4 speed manual and LSD from the factory, I stripped it in the end and installed all the running gear into a mk2 escort estate. Oooh, you can get LSD's to fit a standard Mk2 Granny..? You're a terrible influence on me MrToaster, I keep looking at the BOB in my garage & thinking hmm... Very rare option, i only ever saw two, one on mine and one on a mates 2.8i S (even rarer than my Ghia S was) both were pre facelift cars, possibly more common in Europe as Ford often offered a "winter pack" in the more northern countires.

My old '72 Chevelle convertible is/was one of 2 in the UK. But it was the only one in the world built to that spec (Allegedly, according to some experts in America).

You know, there aren't two of anything in the world?
Even identical twins do not have the same fingerprints....
Every car is therefore a collectible masterpiece, along with the owner.
No two Cadbury mints are identical, no two Coca-Cola bottle caps are identical, no two hairs of the rectum of a Hereford cow are identical, no two snowflakes are identical..... we live in a diverse universe of rarity!

As it happens its been discounted that there are an infinite number of different snowflakes, because of the way they grow there is evidence that the chances of two the same is reasonable (saw it in the New Scientist mag) however that does depend on your definition of identical, even should two flakes be the same right down to the quantum level they would still have needed a dust particle to grow around and the chances are that those would not be identical.

Oh, we're well past the "quantum level" and right into the electron microscopic level given this thread. LOL. When I think of Chevelles, my next thought is of snowflakes, they are both so plentiful............ and none identical, as both are nucleically formed around particles of dust! ;D

Ive been staying out of this thread but ill drag it back on topic.
Our zephyr is pretty rare, one of 8 know by the club. probably a few more out there but they were never common to start with.
Ok, its standard at the moment, but if i don't sell it then it will come with me when we move and ill have a garage to work in ;D
Then i just need to pluck up the courage to take a grinder to it and make some permenant modifications. Its a big thing though, not 100% sure i can bring myself to do it. I think theres only maybe 2 or 3 road worthy at the moment.

My Holden Commodore It's only one of a few million that have been modded over the years. But seriously - My 1967 Morris 1100 would have to be on the rather side of rare for this hot-rodding caper. When was the last time you saw/heard of any ADO16 that wasn't rusting/crushed/wrecked or restored by the "toothbrush-cleaned tyre tread" concourse crowd? I've got a mate here in Adelaide who has a hot one with twin SUs on it. I've been in it and it's quite rapid! He's planning on a supercharger kit next.
