Yo, we're thinking thinking about on my friend's scirocco doing the thing with a collage of comics, then probably laquering over it, but I can't find any pictures of it to convince him it's a class idea. You know the thing where you plaster a pile of manga or whatever all over a panel or even rear lights etc. Does anyone have any good pictures of the same sort of thing? I was searching the forum, and flickr and google for ages, but can't find anything. Thanks.

This one springs to mind from Big Bang 09 Just cant find the close up's of the lights. I think they were from some super hero type comics. I'll have another dig around.

I'm assuming the lights work fine through the paper then? unless its see through paper I very much doubt it Ever help paper to the light Its pretty transparant when back lit. Unless you use glossy paper which comics arent. Whether its transparant enough or not I'm not sure though, hence the question. I'm sure it would be fine at night but in the day?

i very much doubt it would even be fine at night mate, it might show 'some' light through i very much doubt it would be enough to satisfy the law. any way here's a link to the polo, not a fan of the back lights but the interior is very well done imo www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=164740

I have developed a technique for transferring the cheap print of comics (manga pulp based printing) onto another surface that I have planned for something special Works almost like a transfer

How about some Shakotan Boogie? (All mercilessly ripped from www.speedhunters.com) Gunsmith Cats has a lot of realistic American tin in it as well... Can't find many images from the actual comic but are better than the one from the anime above... Rysz.

There is/was a Volvo 940 estate round here that was plastered with Beano comics, everything bar the windows and lights was covered. Looked pretty nifty actually.
