BMW 728i about 1996 or so can be found <£6k, are only 1" wider than a 5 (about a foot longer). I suggest 728 over v8 models cos although you get vouchers it might look like you're taking the p*ss. 7's far better than 5's. take it from me, I work on 'em!!

I agree, the 7 series is so much nicer than a 5 and it's not that much bigger either, the fact that there are loads more 5's about makes it a rarer sight on the roads as well. As I've got a 735 spazmatic I'm probably biased but I don't find the fuel econamy too bad either and it really flies for an old barge when it's in sport mode. By the way how much of a pain is it to change the rear axle buses?, I've read that the BMW special tool wont pull them out if they are completly shot and you have to remove the complete axle!

how old is not very old? 1998 R Reg AUDI A8 2.8 Sport - £5995 1999 Saab 9-5 SE 3.0 V6 LPT - £5995 1999 V Reg SAAB 9-5 2.3t SE MapTun Stage 1 235 BHP - £5995 Can't seem to get piccies to work from Autotrader but that last one especially looks fantastic, good cars, something a little different. Alternatively the Audi is a nice barge, 2.8 might be a little underpowered in an A8 but you could always go for a 4.2....

S6=Audi A6, same car different name ) also available in saloon flavour Now back to my car ;D ;D It's an E32 on a G plate. Do you happen to work at Lind or is it an independant?

Actually the 2.8 v6 sport is quite a good choice if you go for the two wheel drive version as the weight saving makes it pretty nimble for it's size. S8 is the pick of the crop though
