Seeing as the 205 GTi isn't on the list I would have to pick the Supersport

Well for easily available micro hot hatch the metro turbo has to win out, probably because of my good friend gary's mad cow turbo. Looks like a cross between a fresian cow, a metro turbo, and a T16 evo 2 peugeot. He has managed to get hold of something called a 'wind slammer' used for caravan towing, but also good for looking like a stupid wing and knocking 10MPH off the top speed. Incedentaly we have the top speed at the moment of 120mph measured on GPS, should be good for 140 once the intercooler is in and boost is up to full! If i am allowed to go for the obscure its got to be the nissan march / micra super turbo one of only two porduction cars to ever come out with a turbo and a supercharger. Stock 0-60 is 7 seconds, and 6 is easily achieveable with a change to the stock interheater, and intake / exhaust piping. thats my thoughts Oh and of course i would never say no to a charade mmmmmmmmmmmm J

What does an interheater do?

I think that could be potentially the best feature on any car - ever.
I might rustle one up on Excel and bosh it on the dashboard of my 504 pick-up. 70hp at 4000rpm!

The interheater is meant to be an intercooler but it is placed on top of the engine to usefully capture all of the rising heat! wonderfull!
I have never seen that graph, that it truly brilliant!

Now I'm really struggling to find obscure stuff that hasn't been picked yet, but I'll try... The Talbot/Simca1100Ti! Yes, I know what you're saying, that's not an 80s car, it's a 70s car, but they made Talbot/Simca 1100s up to 1985, although I'm not entirely sure whether they made this sporty model in the 80s as well, but if they did then I think it counts as a hot hatch, apparently they could do over 100mph as standard.

I have to go Fiat - my Dad used to have one ! Orange with black detailing and bonnet vent - would kill for it now !! Funny Story >> A very large truck jack knifed and the rear end swung hitting my Dads Fiat, completely removing everything from the door tops upwards! Fortunately when the truck hit the screen my dad's seat collapsed backwards and he watched the truck go over the top of him ! thank the lord for Fiat's sh!t build quality !!!!

My bother once overtook a pair Lancia Integrales on a twisty West of Ireland road with his 127 1300GT @ 9000 RPM in 4th! when he pulled in at a petrol station , the 2 Lancias pulled in, the drivers(2 Italian guys) got out, walked around the 127, tapped on the window and declared " Youra F**king Crazee!"

Had 2 Uno Turbos while the brother had his 127 GT, on the straight the Uno would disappear but on the twisty stuff he'd be glued to the back bumper, just look at the standard ride height in that photo! I know where theres a crashed Charade GTTi convertible with a hatchback for spares, must be rare?
