Ok, due to lack of use and lack of space my super rare zephyr estate is going up for sale ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)
Model: Ford Zephyr
Year: 1962
Mileage: errrr, 65,000 ish, ill check tomorrow
Tax yes, till around march I think
MOT again, untill about march
Location: sheffield
Price: £3000
Contact Details: whtf812@aol.com or 07791893058
This is SUPER rare. The owners club knows of 8 worldwide. There are also about 10 consul estates and 7 zodiac estates know about but only a few of any of them are on the road.
Being a late MK2 it has servo disc brakes![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
Its a tidy usable car. Not concourse but then concourse ones are £8k plus!
Since ive had it ive rebuilt the head, clutch slave, clutch master, fuel pump, had the front seat recovered and put all the interior back to standard.
Some of you may know it has triple SU's on an aquaplane manifold, these are not included. It will come with the stock carb fitted.
Paint is tidy enough but not superb. Previous owner had it since 1972 and has looked after it. Its covered in oil underneath which has protected it very well. It has had some welding but this was done 20 years ago. Current paint is apparantly 5+ years old and theres no grot re-appearing so he must have done a reasonable job.
It has MK3 engine and gearbox. MK3 engine is basicaly the same but a little more powerfull and stronger. MK3 gearbox is 4 speed floor change, a rare box! But could easily be put back to 3 speed colum change or use a mk3 4 speed colum change box.
Ill get some pics and add some more details in the next post.
