GREETINGS FROM EuropeanMotorSport Jaguar Racing Team
EuropeanMotorSport Head North!
Well actually to Mallory Park(weather permitting!) in Leicestershire for their first track time in the 2004.. EuropeanMotorSport(EMS) drivers, Simon Lewis, Jim Shea and Howard Kirkham will be attending a track day put on by the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club on March 3rd. Although they will be taking to the track in a BMW Z3, they all feel that the time on the track will be useful after five months of 'hibernation' during the winter months. A track day at Mallory is very worth while this year, in the past the team hasn’t raced at Mallory. This year will be a first, so the time on the track will come in very useful to all three members of the team when trying to get a good qualifying time. With qualifying times last year in some cases just 1/100th of a second between cars every advantage is essential and has to be explored in order to stay ahead and win.
With only four weeks to go before the first race things are now beginning take on a greater sense of urgency with engines being re installed and new tyres fitted in readiness for the coming season.
Although it will be difficult to improve on last years results, EMS are determined to get the best results from each driver. EMS plan to come home with even more winners cups from the 2004 season and with drivers in two classes the chances of class wins are very high indeed.
We will report back to you on the success of the day.
Regards,
EuropeanMotorSport
