The wheels aren't the problem, original snowflakes didn't have dish either. The problem as far as I can see is that its ugly as sin. There are more panel lines on the original which breaks the shape up a bit, plus the shapes are much "thinner" if you grasp what I mean. Matt maybe you are right.... but i think that the wheels being several inches larger in diameter they'd benefit from being 'sunken in' more... even the old style ones did go deeper in the middle. and yes its too THICK! it is a bit too rectangular and bricky... but then i guess they were trying to use the same platform as some other GM mobile and keep it bulky and muscle, so they made it thicker! difficult to see how they had such good drafts and lost the wow-factor in making it...

They looked ok then but the problem is since then we have had the venom, ford gt, ford focus st, vaux VXR range and other modern cars all running what imho are totally manky venom-esque wheels! Put it on 19 inch steels or something ;D

It's the headlights that kill it for me, I like the rest of it.

It gets a WIN from me. Although I think the wheels could be improved on.

I always have mixed feeling about these kind of cars. I think the new Camaro NAILS the styling but I think the Challenger is a cop-out and so is the Mustang. Although I'd far rather drive a Challenger than a Nissan GTR or whatever alternative options one has I would rather that the stylists produced real attractive, modern designs rather than rehashing the old ones.
Did anyone see the Chevelle you could buy based on the Pontiac GTO/Holden Monaro? That wasn't bad.

I reckon the whole car is to short. The new Comaro is built on a shortened VE Holden Commodore floor. If they kept the same wheel base i think it would work better.

I quite like it, but i'd still spend the money on an original one.

Volvo back as my main squeeze, more boost and some interior goodies on the way.

looking again at that photo in the OP I am reminded of the line "elements of the past, and elements of the present, combined together to make something not quite as good as either"

Problem is if the stylists had been allowed a free hand it would have looked the same as everything else...... cr*p!!

ok, is it still legal in this country to change your mind ?? yes, but it carries a hefty tax. I'm not a fan of the styling, much prefering the camaro and challenger.

Nice job I recon, wouldnt be surprising if it is released, as it appears to be just a nose and tail job on a new Camaro.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.
