The problem is not with the cars, but with the track. Ah it was the tracks fault ;D Personally it riles me when any motoring show makes sweeping statements about one car being faster than another based on one test. But then it sells advertising.

Saw the show, the M3 looked awesome, the Lancia a bit rolly but still really cool. I would definitely love an E30 M3, might not be super-quick in modern terms but it's an icon, and I don't think a SportKa will ever be remembered in quite the same way regardless of their apparently similar lap times on 5th gear! ;D
Did Tiff buy you a new set of tyres?

Those lap times sure are weird though. I thought that in the late 80's the Integrale was regarded as one of the fastest point to point cars ever made, bar none! This should have suited a tight and twisty circuit well. car performance sure has moved along if a sport Ka is almost as quick as a grale now!
Now I'd love to see what something with legendary speed and handling like an Audi RS2 would do compared to a modern performance estate!
