Well after seeing all that fantastic stuff in Mikes´ "stance thread"
I thought it´s about time we got all our own cars in one thread full of win ;D One car per post and maximum 6 pics per post please I´ll kick off with our 1978 MKIII CapriBeforeBought as a 300 Euro wreck because I couldn´t find a decent(read affordable) MKI Granada Like most old Fords it was worse than it looked... During It needed a bit of welding here and there... After2 new doors, tailgate, bonnet, front panel, both front wings, inner wings too, 2 rear wings and half a new floor later it was looking like a car again... So let´s see all your rags to riches pics ;D

1974 Dolomite Sprint - as purchased: Headgasket went *poof!*. Was probably going when I got it - but 7000RPM launches and modern-baiting probably aided it on its way......so pulled the head, had it skimmed and tested, rebuilt the top end and serviced everything. Voila. Now I had one operational engine with all the right bits. Thought I'd rollerpaint the bonnet for a laugh.......then I got a bit carried away. Scraped all the vinyl off, filled some damage, rust killed a load of stuff: Temperature was dropping to about -12 around where I was, so moved it indoors. -2 with the heater. Awesome. Tried a rattle can on the door and thought "that'll do". Probably because I was high off fumes from the paint and the gas/electric heaters.. Primed: Done:

Well, there are several members on here who could do as much in one day as I have in the last 3 years, but here it is! Before: During: After: Changes made in roughly 3 years of ownership include: engine swap, different wheels, steering wheel, clutch, exhaust, shocks, consumables, minor rust repairs, some competition use and an (ahem) extremely subtle paint job on the bonnet.

And some paint 'prep'... AFTER: A light splash of purple and it's already starting to look like a real car LOL...
