Well, I never thought (hoped) I'd ever be posting a thread in this part of the forum, but I guess I was wrong.
Inbetween 22:00 09/10/09 and 00:00 10/10/09 my 1989 Honda CB125TD (Reg. F65 SDX) was stolen from my own back garden. Somebody(s) have walked down the driveway on the side of my house, took a bolt cutter to the chain on the gate and wheeled the bike away. It was there when the betterhalf went for a smoke at 10pm and gone when she went back out at midnight.
Here's what it looks like:
Unfortunately, the insurance ran out on the bike today, so hopefully I was still covered for the theft but I'm not holding out much hope as I can see it being a nice excuse not to pay out.
As you can imagine I am rather intoxicated off and the betterhalf is very, very upset about someone coming into our back garden and taking it.
I've had a drive round to see if I could see anyone with it (long shot I know, but you never know) but to no avail. I have a feeling it was loaded into a van rather than opportunist or some oik. Although I doubt it was stolen to order as it isn't excatly a great bike or powerful.
I would like to give a massive thumbs up to Sutton Coldfield police though, they can out straight away and were really great
If anyone knows anything if they could let me know please.
