Well, yeah... he just doesn't seem to know the difference between 'racing incident' and 'relentlessly smashing people out of the way at any given opportunity to gain unjust advantage'.
...or rather, he does know the difference all too well, but likes to pretend he's all sweet and innocent.
But hey, it's all fun and games isn't it?! I love BTCC, and can overlook the occasional villain. All part of the drama!

What y'all need over there-uh are summons like Junior Johnson, "Tiny" Lund, Lee Petty, or Cale Yarborough to tutor Jason on Platonic Love NASCAR stylee. FFS, Lee Petty protested his son Richard Petty's first win, and they were teammates in addition to pappa and son! Lil' Jason would be needing some new front teefies or more likely would be a greasy smear on the Turn 3 wall at Talladega. MmmHmmmm..... dat right... MmmmmHmmmm....

I've just got a hilarious image of James Thompson squaring up to Tom Chilton. "Pull his hair, pull his hair!"

Super Touring is a good look, why do we not see more medium-sized '90s saloons on big motorsport wheels? Needs to be done. Because most people would just associate it with the max-power look, which would be a bit embarrassing :-) And it would probably be very easy for it to look excessively half arsed ;-) Plus you'd need the grunt to back it up :-)

I've got all the offical videos (VHS) from 92-99 ie; the 2 litre era. Anyone remember Julian Bailey punting Toyota Carina-E teammate Will Hoy onto his roof, while he was leading, at the '93 Silversone grand-prix support race ? That finished one-two for the Janspeed Primeras. Personally, I think 93 was the best year. Pre-aerodynamics and the second half season charge of the new, Rouse-prepaired Mondeos after early domination of the Schnitzer BMWs. If anyone wants to feel a bit gutted wiki' some of the drivers names and see how many have passed-on

the youngest racer that season was James Thompson who was 20 at the time even Matt Neal was 28!! Put that into perspective Andy Rouse was the oldest at 47 more than twice his age!!! Most of the drives that season were born between 1952 and 1964 so it was an experienced field. Even Tim Harvey looked young at a mere 33 and Tiff Needell was 43!!
