I've been hunting for ages to see a picture of my mates Ghia. I've not seen him for a few years. But I have succeeded. 72' Karmann Ghia 1835cc flat 4 boxer, 45 dcoe webers, race cam, deep sump and external oil coolers, race cam, quick shift. Porsche carrera cup wheels. Currently in storage, about to have new paint...

Currently in storage, about to have new paint... What colour is it going? Looks like he's put a lot of work into that.

Have to say I quite like it In fact I really like it! It does look a little close to pink..... Colour change should make it much better. Rather taken with this silver one at the gathering though

I'm not sure what the colour is going to be. It's actually red at the moment, not pink. Those wheels really do set it off As previously stated, if you don't like it, don't post. It's retro enough to be posted ('72) and when have you seen a smoothed KG before?
