Now I am a BIG fan of E30 touring's and it sounds like we were very much cut from the same cloth. The 'Must be Mtech Sport BBS' crowd can keep their clipboards or even inssert them in places I'd rather not think about.
What you've done with yours is SPOT ON! Stance, wheels and especially the colour of the wheels. 100% WIN in my eyes.
I'd love to see some more/better/larger pics of it as it is now.
How's the E30Zone these days? I've not been on there for a while, seemed to be getting all a bit too anal for my liking. Some cool people on there for sure, met some good friends on there, but too many clipboard nazi's for my liking! Don't have my touring anymore anyway.
Keep us updated with lots of cools pics and details of further mods. ;D

Jeez there was a lot of work in this one! Wasn't expecting transplants and stuff on this. Looks great, perfect 'van/daily' well done.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Absolutely love e30s, plus the blue wheels really do work well. Not a massive fan of the wood bits tho if I'm honest.

Touringtastic! The transformation is amazing and I'd love to own her. Like the new rims, although personally wouldn't have them blue. Looking good though

Ive also stopped attending bmw shows as they are the same.

Every one and their rabbit have Alpina reps, and they are frowned upon in the E30 world. and you think Borbet A's are less "common" . . hmm . . .

Futre plans include breaking it up when the Tax is out! Car needs so much doing, I cant be arsed with it, two front tyres, tracking, roll bar link, exhaust blow, re paint the N/S..ect,, That's kinda what I did to mine! I had a 325i with loads of goodies on it (motorsport touring interior retrimmed in light grey leather, LSD, sport box, hartge wheels, H&R suspension & arb's, hartge steering/gearknob, Mtech front etc.....plus all the extras light map light mirror, tweeters, OBC etc...) It was a beautiful car: I was in the process of doing an engine conversion to the M52 2.8 with my good friend Damo. We had bought a complete donor car (mechanically perfect crash damaged write-off) and removed everthing we needed for the converision: Then stripped the rest of the E36 to a bare shell and sold all the 'leftover' parts on which more than covered the cost of the donor vehicle....the shell was weighed in: Next step we removed the 2.5 lump from my touring: The very next day the HUGE floods hit Gloucester and my friend Damo lost his house and couldn't move back in for a year! This is the same part of the drive that the JCB was on - no gateposts to be seen...all underwater! My car was saved, but was left in pieces because not having a home, he didn't have the space or time to finish the conversion. I decided to break the car for spares and made more than THREE TIMES what it had cost me in the first place! It's mad, but made more sense than waiting 'another' year before Damo was in a position to start the project again (he'd lost some of his own cars in the flood!)
