Hello chaps
I'm buying a car that has a cheap private plate est £300. I'm not a fan of private plates so how would i go about getting a normal plate on there? and how much does it cost? will i end up with some money paying towards the car?!?
cheers

if you sell the plate they give you the original one back that was on the car in the first place.

What's the actual reg? You can get valuations saying anything for registration numbers but ultimately they're only worth what someone is willing to pay. Unless it's especially good for some reason or a dateless plate then I would leave it on the car. If I remember correctly to hold the plate for a year it'll cost about £100 but DVLA will tell you for sure... then £15 for new number plates....

yeah, 3 letter 4 digit is a NI plate. usuauuly all the Is and Zs give it away, lol.. £200 to £300 is about par for these there is an £80 transfer fee to get the plate off your car, whoever buys it (to hide the age of their 4 yerar old x5) should pay that, then your car reverts to its original number.£10 gets some plates made, should leave you a couple of hundred in pocket afterwards.

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in
