And so we arrive at another Samage photo thread. Bit different to my other ones, no gallery link this time, just going to shove them all up on this here thread. Had a great weekend with my friends, weather was diabolical but the cars were cool. ;D Only took 130-ish car photos (and some people ones, but they're for Facebook, not here!) because rather than maniacally taking photos of everything in sight, I decided to enjoy the cars myself a bit this year and took things at a more relaxed pace. So ner. Finally, before the pics, some disclaimers: first up, I got NO pics of the lowriders display! Whenever I saw them I didn't have my camera on me, and whenever I had my camera on me I couldn't find them. ;D So sorry about that. Also, Austin Maxi fans, the Maxi used in the monster truck display - prior to being flattened, it had been involved in a front-end shunt and was thus a write off. So no need to go complaining to Santa Pod. Anyway, onto the good stuff... as a side note, keep an eye out for the matt black splittie pickup on 5-spokes. It was one of my favourites of the show, and you'll soon see why....

That Ford V6 engined bug must be a receipe for the worst handling car ever surely.
Love the splitty with the Viper motor, though i'd paint it a shiny colour if it was mine.

The Viper-Split was AWESOME.... ran 10's I believe.... Apparently built by the same guy who built the BMW-Bay a few years back which was essentially a 5er with a bay shell.

The Viper-Split was AWESOME.... ran 10's I believe.... Apparently built by the same guy who built the BMW-Bay a few years back which was essentially a 5er with a bay shell. Correct-o-mondo... Simon Bull is the guy, really talented. He's been building it for about four years now, he bought the basis of what now forms the cab area from a mate... Who's brother built the Land Rover hot rod, pictured elsewhere in your pictures Here's a Youtube of it, ... There are a couple more if you look on his channel. He bought a crash damaged Viper, and essentially built everything else around it, he's almost happy with it, and when he is I'm sure it'll appear in a magazine somewhere. Great weekend though, yeah the weather was pap, but speaking as somebody who gets paid to be there, the overall feel was really good. The showgoers really got behind the event in the best possible way. Really cool pics of the monster trucks Samage, it's hard to convey the feeling you get from them huh? A combination of 3000bhp between them, looking at your pictures, I think you were at the best show they did too...

Third vote for that bug! Viper split is mega but I think needs more height on the rear section to make it look less loooong.

Cheers for the pics, i even managed to ruin one by being in the background of the pic with the light green Mk2 Gti, i've got the cap on and look horribly pastey ;D Maybe we should wear RR badges so we know who the other RR members are Oh and cheers Bryn for letting me pass you on the gravel track on the way in It was a shame about the weather, but overall a good week end.
