So, you're all seeing why Brian Damaged is having so much fun at the moment then? It's all about hooning in small Citroens! ;D Haha!!! EVERY TIME I jump into that car, even if I'm just off to the chippy, I end up going about four times as far as necessary because I'm ragging it stupid round the village like a loony. Buying that was the best car-related thing I've EVER done. I loved TG tonight, but then I always do. Brian Johnson is a legend, but given the choice I'd be hooning around in that Ami, watching her puppies........ ;D

This week`s episode proves that Top Gear can be a decent show if it wants to be, where else would a Citroen Ami get a nice 15 minutes of limelight broadcast to half the country?
Total contrast to last weeks installment of the Marina victimisation campaign, which I hope will now fizzle out as it`s gone beyond a bit of ribbing and is starting to look like a big budget TV show carrying out an extermination slash humiliation exercise that has all the charm of a little boy with no mates pulling the legs off a cranefly.
It really was a different program this week, even the humour was a tad more refined. What is it you hip young hipstery types say when you would like to receive some more of something? Moar Plz? Is that it? MOAR PLZ!

Enjoyed it as always, but I thought it was a shame they didn't say more about the cars they had bought.

Never mind all this Marina stuff. Just watched the rerun of Fifth Gear where they do the rear end shunts and I'm sure I spotted a Mk 1 Astra GTE in black. Please someone tell me I'm wrong!!!! You are correct, saw the very same thing and commented to the missus. She didn't understand Sad fate for a mk1 GTE. Best thing to do with a Metro though (runs and hides for cover lol)

The Mallorca rally has 1981 as it's cut-off date, so they couldn't use anything later.

They have one more kick in the cobblers for the Club this series, a 'Marina Funeral'..... Sad thing is, one of the Club members has had his car keyed since all this started and others have recieved threats, which had to be taken seriously because of the level of detail. there are some sick barstewards out there and sadly they think JC is god. It has got vindictive and increasingly nasty, they are fabricating truths about the Club, members and statements to get a reaction and we aren't reacting as they want us to so they ramp it up every episode. I don't know where it will end or what poor sods will be next in the firing line once they've got bored of hatcheting us. I know two or three people who are concours restoring their cars and they are really getting worried about being able to use them in public because of the attitudes being broadcast. Christ almighty, we're only using old cars for enjoyment, not slaughtering baby seals! What can be done - at the moment, apart from legal action very little; TG is a cash cow for the BBC and they will defend it to the bitter end, regardless of how much misery and distress they cause. Two of the presenters are scared for their jobs, one is in control and makes sure everyone knows it and joyfully claims to be being paid to act like a nine-year-old kid - sadly it appears not only on the screen, but in real life as well. I really don't think they have a clue what they have done, or even care which is more annoying. We who own Marinas will have to brace for the next bout of abuse after Sunday and hope that the brain-deads who believe all they see will leave us alone; going on past evidence, I doubt it.

Hey I got quoted! "If I see Clarkson I'm going to poo into hy hand and throw it at him" That was me, that was! Why would you throw your hand at him? Let alone poo into it first? You're just WRONG!

I know, it was a stupid stupid thing to say and I feel so ashamed. It would take atleast a minute to successfully crimp one into my hand, by the time id finished Clarkson would have twigged what was going on and run away and I would be unable to give chase as my pants would be round my ankles.
A better idea would be to poo into a plastic bag in advance and throw that at him.

Sad thing is, one of the Club members has had his car keyed since all this started and others have recieved threats, which had to be taken seriously because of the level of detail. there are some sick barstewards out there and sadly they think JC is god. I don't see how top gear slating a car would lead to that. Unless of course it was keyed by a schizophrenic. Some very strange people out there, but you can hardly blame the BBC for the way people are reacting.. theres no suggestion that other people should kill these cars themselves at any point as far as I'm aware. Blaming TG for your mates car being keyed is like blaming Setanta cause someone was watching the latest Boxing match, and proceeded to beat you up a couple days later. ...Don't get me wrong of course, the Marina campaign is putting me off somewhat, but it doesnt make Jeremy Clarkson the antichrist - though perhaps if you believe that he writes and produces the program, you may get a little annoyed. Gotta remember he only presents it, it's not HIS program.

Because when they smashed the first Marina the owners club got the bod on and complained. Now i'm sure this is not just me, but when i'm teasing somebody if they get the bod on I keep going until they run away/hit back. If they just ignore it I get bored and stop. Unfortunatley the MOC have got themselves in the first situation.
