Hey, my offer has just been accepted for this!!! It has a massive barn which will potentially store about 15 cars undercover (when the floors and doorways are sorted out), plus out the front it has a separate stone single-car garage/workshop with its own cellar, upstairs storage, and fireplace! Not bad for £42k What it doesn’t have, is a bog, running water, any heating, or phone, but that can all be dealt with.

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

Excellent Mr plums! imagine how much something like that would cost in the UK!
I'm looking at buying a property in france next year for between £40-50k, was going to buy a property over here but i just can't afford it so i thought i'd buy myself a nice place in France:)
Whereabouts is that place? as my other big issue is deciding on where in france? any suggestions?
Did you sort a mortgage out in france or over here?
Don;t suppose you have got MSN as i have loads of questions to ask, if you have the time to answer them?

Nice! Has a lot of character about it, tidy it up a little inside, make it habitable, and it'll be bloody great, don't bother doing much to the outside, it's got a sort of barn equivelant of "rat look"! ;D

Thats cool, you've just bought my dream house. I'd do it up inside but leave the outside looking pretty much as is for that authentic rustic charm. Hats off to Mr B . When can i move in ;D ;D ;D
