Thing is do you want to mess with something that original (if it's as original as they claim) ?

the more original and unmolested, the better the platform to start from!!

my Datsun has 32k miles from new and one previous owner,.. there is also suspected to be less than 10 in the country .... am I going to let that stop me modifying it,..... nope

the more original and unmolested, the better the platform to start from!! Completely agree.......just imagine that dropped 60mm on some ATS Classics....... and maybe a bright orange strip over the car from front to back....

I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people I don't like.

Fair comment I suppose. At the end of the day it's your car/property and are free to do what you like with it After all that's democracy ...who mentioned Bush and Blair ;D

I know what TwincamGTi means about mollesting a good car. But when it comes to these classic vauxhalls I am in full support of anything being done to them as it seems nobody wants them! Unless it's a Mk1 Astra or Older Manta.

Two questions: 1, What are these wheels? 2, Where can I get some to fit an Avenger?

Thanks MWF, I hope I didn't offend anyone, also I'm not an originality Junky myself. Plus it would be easy to turn kadett back to originality if next owner wanted to. I suppose I said this because recenlty a member in our local car club made a pickup out of a Mk3 Zodiac. The Zodiac he used in question was a perfect example but due to the amount of cutting about, re-construction and welding that was required he might just as well of started out with a rottern one/resto project. None of us were against the Zodiac Pickup and thought it looked ace, plus workmanship was excellent (A sort of EL Camino in style . It's just that we thought it would have been better to do it to a resto project, that way another Zodiac would have been save from the scrapper and he'd still have a standard (and near perfect) one . In other words ...best of both worlds!

I can't see the car on the eBay thread (work IT nazi's)... but I'll assume it's scrummy.
These Kadett's are giving me the serious horn right now... so so easy to make them look so so good.

You'll need to find the right wheels then,.. the Ronal's don't have the dish,or the flat face
