I'll dig my spare out too, though you have to have a small head for that one as I last used it when I was 15! Plus my current tin is up for lend as its hardly worth a million dollars! As for not wearing other peoples helmets just take some wet wipes  |

That's a shame, though I did question the sanity of hooning about Mallory Park even in my 2CV in a T-shirt with a floppy hat for protection...

they were required at mallory i seem to remember, but a few got away with it. gonna have to borrow a helmet if i wanna track it then  |

We've rustled up about 6 helmets probably see if we can get a couple more. So have no fear, we have helmets  But if you have your own, please bring it*! *tin foil helmets don't count. |

they were required at mallory I seem to remember, but a few got away with it. It wasn't mandatory I did some sprints with and some without as I wasn't driving any faster on track than I would on the road....... |

AND whoever is manning the track at that time has to be happy with it. If they aren't happy, you wont go round.

Would you trust it to protect you in the event of an accident on your bike? If it looks like a good helmet and is in a not dropped damaged abused condition......... My shoei stickers are faded and scuffed but it's still is a good helmet and I've never had a problem using it for any track day |

Seeing as its only been used when riding my 50cc ped, I'd probably trust a colander to protect me when falling off that! |

So has it been decided then - time attack or mad dash sprint? What's with the traction breaking/not rule then? I'm sure anyoen trying to give a decent time is gonna fall foul there......  EDIT *** Got my own helmet - so can be loaned out - scruffy looking but not dropped (as far as I remember). Anyone else near a karting place? Go ask if we can borrow a couple of theirs - they also have the disposable liners........ |
