Since May 1 I have seen one of those in my garage (in my dreams). May 1 has for the last 25 years been a day of Italian culture here in Sweden, at Skokolster Castle all Italian car & bike clubs meet up for a spring gathering, we walk around and look at eachothers rides and just enjoy, verry low key. The Swedish chapters of the Ferrari Club (memeber), Fiat Club, Abarth Club, Alfa Club, Maserati Club, Lamborghini Club, Aprilia Club (member), Ducati Club (member), Italjet Club (member), Vespa Club (member) and a couple of other Italian brand clubs, two years ago there were even to Riva Speed Boats in the lake. If you come in or on anything not Italian there's a gravel parkinglot some 700m away were you can dump it!!!!
Back to the Alfa Zagato, there were 3 of them there, one black and 2 red, the black was a 3000km beauty, still dreaming about it every now and then.....

All they really needed was Some real horse pressure under the bonnet to make a truly stupendous car.Bangles BMW efforts pale into ugly insignificance alongside these. Rare? 1038 total production means you wont see one at tescos ;D,But there is ONE close to me....In New Zealand.3000 Kms away. ;D ;D |

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

I,ve only ever seen one on the road once, it pulled up next to me at the lights and gunned it I was roadtesting a very dirty, dark green RS2 at the time so it didn't stand a chance ;D ;D ;D |
