why are people such arses as that escort bloke. insures it as a 1.3 and then fits a 2.0 ... thats why insurance is so high...what does it achieve? i hope he crashes his pride and joy, has invalid insurance and doesn't get a penny! Must be lack of sleep but I read that post and thought he must have had a disability

He's done it on both cars too...and then told the whole of ebay about it! Good job insurance companies aren't linked into a huge joint computer system or anything...oh, hang on.

Thing is tho, he won't crash and he will always get away with it...someone will fit new wheels and the next day, before declaring them, will crash and get no payout!

Lovely car though. But that's the price of a new Porsche isn't it?

I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people I don't like.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

1100Why does no-one modify these things? Surely you can apply the 'Mini' modification priciples? e.g. 1275 turbo / 1380 / K-series / V-TEC etc. Would love to see one rock stock outside ripping up the strip, howling like a banshee & embarassing some flash-mobile. Better still a VdP one... wood, leather, picnic table & cut-glass decanters hossing a 14-sec quarter. ;D

There was a nice 1100 for sale at RCS year 1 with a tuned A-series, nearly bought it for my GF but then realised I had no money. Doh!
