O have used normal Turtle wax on mine (the green tub) and they are still looking good a month, and plenty of use later although I am going to give them a quick going over again soon.

meguiars metal polish works really well, far better than the autoglym metal polish i used to use at protecting a polished finish, although autoglym is better for restoring a polished finish if its dulled a little

I've got some of that purple wheel wax, works well for the polished ally bits on my bike (polish my Toyota? Heck, I don't even clean it)

^^ I don't know. it comes in a blue tub with green lid though Yeah thats the stuff. Spent all today polishing my slotmags and sealing by hand with that stuff. Hope it's good lol  Well annoyed though, polishing discs expired with one wheel to go. The wheels were corroded to hell though tbf, so I'm surprised they lasted as long as they did.. was a LOT of polishing. |

Thanks for all the info and advice guys.
I've just ordered some Poorboys Wheel Sealant, some Bilt-Hamber wheel wash and also some Chemical Guys wheel guard. Probably a bit OTT - but when getting the wheels this shiny is SO damn fiddly, I reckon it'll be worth it in the long run.
Datman - I wisha mop would work on mine, but it wouldn't get into the grooves or between the rivets. It'd be great for cleaning up the Mickey Thompsons though....
Do you mind me asking if that's jsut an angle grinder or something 'special' for the job? Also, what mop do you use?
