Well, a few years now, I have wanted to attend this show, but always forget, get side tracked etc. This year, with Nicola's vigilance , we did attend. Got up at 06.30 (stupid-o-clock I know.) left home by 07.45 and got parked in the first row of the public parking at the entry gate, a good thing if you want to carry acquired tat to your car, and have a lunch break at 12.30 after the autojumble. Anyway, loads of random pics, just enjoy and add if you have more to add. First Thing I got at the autojumble...... was this lovely smaller size spotlight, bargain at non Scene taxed £3.00. Proceeded to break the glass here at home, trying to get the chrome ring off..... PRATT !! Now looking for a replacement lens .... Anyone ?? (WIPAC Series 152 S.A.E.N. 65 ) Next up I found Oldbus a bit of tat, which he may not even want, but as I have never seen one, I had to bring it home, and if he does not want it, then it will be done over in Sinclair colours later and be converted into something usefull for the Transit ;D OK.... Now for the pics, not much desctiptions, as I am tired, hope you enjoy anyway. Love the stance, and note the steering wheel.... musta been fun driving it. Set of three. Maybe another day favourite, this truck. At 12.30 we went to the car to drop off stuff, and to have packed lunch.... cheaper by far. Looking up the meadow and hilside.... the people just kept on comming in their droves. So much for getting there early then...... ;D ;D ;D Fail to get this..... though I am sure without it we would be poorer. These cars owe their owners 20-30k each according to the chat around the campfire. Studebaker.... Nice Ass. VERY NICE !! Modern Motorvation. Barris Kustom, I think, cannot remember what the sign said. Possibly the best turned out 100E I have yet seen. Multi winner, and magazine feature car, Peoples choice winner etc. A Thames 300E that I would also have loved to take home. Great pissstake and tongue in cheek nod at ratrods and the like. I liked this a lot too. Thats all folks. Hope you enjoyed.

Fortunately, I missed the registration.
Nope, went in the daily..... thankfully.
Not sure I will actually attend a large show like that with our cars.
Myrtle would have been one of the nice looking cars there, and the bus unique, but neither are good enough reasons to go through the whole process.
And one cannot leave your cars alone, always reports of people having cars dameged by scrotes, or bits stolen etc.... so being a spectator is much nicer.

Very nice pics, thanks for sharing.
Let me have a rummage on the spares box tomorrow - I believe I might have some lenses for that style and size of spotlamp.

I've never had that problem and I've been going for well over a decade. I'd definitely recommend parking in the one-make section at Bromley - without it you're missing out. Do it next year!

I guess with the Transit I would have my own parking then ?
Reports of theft and other nonsense are just that....reports, I am just cautious.

me and my dad had a great day up there, although I'm a little bit sunburnt! ive got loads of pics still on the camera which ill add to this thread tomorrow thought that jerry bloke off "salvage squad" who was commentating in the arena bit was quite entertaining, he properly embarrassed some guy in a barried up saxo "wow thats the biggest exhaust ive ever seen, whats it packing under the hood?" "erm its a standard 1.2, pretty much stock" hehehe the "royal male" van was excellent on a side note, one of my dads workmates was up there in his lovely MGB, and he had no issues all day, in the one make section theres always like minded people around so it seems that people keep an eye out for the cars around them.

WTF? That outfit must be so long it needs a Police Escort! I expect the wings are stashed in the back of the CX Also, is this: really any different in ideology to this? Discuss! Some cracking pictures there, looks like a good show.

Also, is this: really any different in ideology to this? Discuss! Yes. The 206? probably has a 1L up to 1.4L bog-standard engine (other than a big exhaust and a K+N 'ADDS 50BHP YO!' airfilter). The capri probably has something fairly serious under that power bulge. Posing Vs. performance, IMHO.

Do it next year! i caught someone feeling the door handles of my old xr2 a couple of years ago. i had one of my young girls with me and was unable to take my own action. police were not interested either.

Huh? Of what possible use is a "Heat On Fergie" newspaper to OB, Grizz? Sorry, not following. For pan drippings, or...? Except for that, rest of the post is super cool. ;D (Isn't the Barris car just mad as a hatter? Would love to hear it run....) EDIT: Just noticed a LOT of empty vessels, cans, jars, bottles, tins in that photo. What sort of fetish is that? Next up I found Oldbus a bit of tat, which he may not even want, but as I have never seen one, I had to bring it home
