Taken from the current Classic Car Weekly....
Years of hard saving were destroyed in one evening when Tim Slow's £250,000 collection of three classic cars were stolen from his North Ascot home.
"I am really passionate about cars and it took me so long to save up for the first one," the 40-year-old self-employed IT consultant told local news reporters.
"I'm not some rich playboy. My whole life has gone up in a puff of smoke. They were like works of art to me."
Thiefs managed to break into the secure garage and stole the two Aston martins - a blue DB6 Mark 1 and a silver 2-4 Mark 3 - along with a green E-type Jaguar Series 1 Roadster.
All the cars were wheel-clamped and kept under covers. The 40-year-old added:"Theres not really much more i could have done to keep them safe."
