Anyone know if/where I can find the joke back-half Garfield that used to poke out the boot of the traveller kids mums cars back when I was a nipper in the 80s? Just a random thing I just remembered - and now I want! Can't find 'em anywhere, thought possibly they might be still produced somewhere. But then I have not seen them on a car since the early 1990s

Lmao. My dad had some of the plastic fingers. They're the ultimate accessory, not Garfield.. though he is pretty crucial

Anyone remember those little plastic men that stood on your parcel shelf and when you squeezed the rubber bulb on the end of a hose, they mooned the driver behind you? I thought they were hilarious in the '80s ;D
But then, I turned 5 at the end of the '80s...

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.

You forgot those half golf balls that stuck onto the window with cracking to make it look like it had gone through the glass.
Also, those dam 'splats' that all beetles had on them.
Do wooden bead car seat covers count?

At some point i've had every single one of the things listed in this thread on a car, usually they came with a car I bought, but I have to admit to purchasing the mooney man myself, plus stick on bullet holes, mirror tint window film, etc etc

Escort and Golf convertible's with CABRIOLET in HUUUGE letters down the side......
Rubber 'anti-static' straps on the rear - ideally one on each side
Tinted perspex headlight covers
Moss or Clifford alarm stickers in the side windows
Pioneer, Kenwod or Alpine stickers across the rear windscreen
Some of this stuff just HAS to make a come-back!
