lOOKING GOOD!!! One question which Plasma cutter do you have, I have been looking at the inbuilt compressor versions from machine Mart but cant really find any reviews. Its an R-Tech HF40, they are a Gloucester based company so nice and local ;D @600 notes I think, not cheap but not chinese

Lovely work there Gruntola, looks like you are bit of a dab hand at this sort of thing. I would love a plasma cutter, are you using it to cut rusty bits out the structure as well? you are having to deal with some right fiddly little nooks and crannnies there.

I didn't to start with as i had run out of tips , I have done today though This is what I really bought it for as it is much quieter than using a disc cutter Have to be careful though as you can't control the depth like a disc, if there are two layers of metal it will cut both!!

Well today was supposed to castle Coombe but at 7am when I got up it was piddling down so I had a cuppa and then walked the mutt, still raining, breakfast, still raining Didn't fancy getting soaked watching a few cars drive relatively slow round the track if it was on at all! So used the time to do some more to Bluebell Chassis leg well on the way That looks a bit better now As I had to take the weight of the axle stand under the leg I was cutting I modified a cheapo jack to raise the sill a bit From the inside it's all better too Will bash on with drivers side tomorrow and I can then bolt the subframe back in ..

OUCH! ONE OF THE reasons to wear goggles when grinding or wire brushing etc, it was in about 1/4 inch , if this was in the nice soft fleshyness of the eye Anyway on with the steel removal.. the other chassis leg gone
