Rally look rather than retro suits them best.
But some of the euro style small wheels, stretched tyres, and slammed can look OK

Styling? If in doubt, try applying the safe rules: wheels and drop. I reckon a set of Porsche or Audi rims on adapters and a few inches out of the suspension will do it. You get the idea.

Might I suggest a set of these HP Sporting special sports. Butt and Co used to do them but I don't know if they do still. They are height adjustable not by the usual collars but with snap rings under the perch. You compress the spring, move the perch and then move the clip. Or have a word with John Shelley(Skofast). If he can get them, he will give you a price but you normally need to wait until he is back over to get them.

Cool, cheers for the link, I'll probably just go for -35mm springs so the wife doesn't notice too much Gave it a clean and parked it in the twilight just for you

^ that looks really really good. I reckon one of these would be an ideal daily. I was thinking that. I've got hooked on 2 litre plus engines (I do about 40miles motorway everyday), but did very nearly plump for a late felatio instead of the current IS200. Fancied RWD again, so that won.

Love how it looks on the bigger steels! I used to have the boggo L version, 1300, no cig lighter, or centre console, or anything really! I stuck on my set of 6x14 ATS cups, but they quickly came off because they made the steering sooo heavy, and the tyres were shagged.

I stuck on my set of 6x14 ATS cups, but they quickly came off because they made the steering sooo heavy, and the tyres were shagged. That was part of the appeal of this one as it has power steering, and the GLXI also gets a sunroof and foglights but strangly no electric windows (not that that bothers me)

they are the perfect daily indeed.
for 35mm go to motorsportworld.co.uk, based in bonnie scotshland, and get some Jamex ones, about £70 a set posted. (less actually to mainland maybe) cheapest in the country, have three or so sets on various cars, good job.

We had one of these - a 1.6 GLXi - very reliable, cheap to run - it got through accellerator cables though... Less is definitely more with these - bit of lowering good, love those steels. Here's the best paintjob - urban camo More here: www.walyou.com/blog/2009/05/05/invisible-car-skoda/
